Our MD Family Health Group offers an after‑hours clinic for urgent concerns only. It is not intended for routine issues or prescription refills. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the Emergency Department.

After‑Hours Clinic Hours

Monday–Thursday: 5.00 to 8.00 pm

Friday: 1.00 to 8.00 pm

Saturday–Sunday: 9.00 am to 12.00 pm

If you require medical assistance after clinic hours, please call The Telephone Health Advisory Service (THAS) on 1-866-553-7205Contact THAS instead of visiting a walk‑in clinic or urgent care.

The on‑call doctor or Tele‑Health Nurse will provide us with notes so we can follow up as needed. Walk‑in clinics do not send records, and the Ministry deducts fees when enrolled patients use outside services. Patients who repeatedly use walk‑in or urgent care services may be removed from our roster.

Virtual clinics (e.g., Maple, retail‑based tele‑clinics at Lob laws (Shoppers drug marts etc.), corporate virtual care services such as Sunlife or Telus ect, Bodystream or other "FREE" cannabis on-line clinics) are also considered outside use by the Ministry of Health and should be avoided unless necessary.

If you have an urgent concern outside of clinic hours and after-hours, call 8-1-1 to speak with a registered nurse for health advice. This free service is available 24/7. Formerly known as Telehealth Ontario.
